Concert photography, or live music photography, is far and away the type of photography that I like most. Something about capturing the essence of a musical artist in the act of
creating their music in front of a live audience just pulls me all the way in.
I started shooting musicians over 40 years ago, while I was still in my teens. Since then, I have shot well over 1,000 bands and musicians in
venues as far south as Los Angeles and Hollywood thru Seattle, Vancouver, Edmonton and many other cities. Throw in a few festivals here and
there and I count myself extremely fortunate to have shot many of biggest stars in a wide variety of musical styles as well as scores
of local musicians and up-and-coming artsts.
Among the artists: U2, Rhihanna, Brad Paisley, BB King, Chris Botti, Carlos Santana, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Kris Kristofferson, Jack Semple, Jonny Lang,
Sue Foley, Ruthie Foster, Van Halen, Avicii, A-Track, Calvin Harris, Journey, John Mellencamp, George Thorogood, Motley Crue, Shinedown, Ringo Starr,
Walk Off The Earth, Don Henley, Billy Idol, Brett Kissel, Slayer, Al di Meola, Lee Ritehour, Robben Ford, Grace Potter, Chromeo, Reba McEntire,
Randy Travis, Shawn Phillips, Victor Wooten, Chicago, ZZ Top, Barenaked Ladies, Blue Rodeo, Florida Georgia Line, Steve Miller Band, The Doobie Brothers, and countless others.
